RACE REGALIA.
We are taking orders for race regalia, including Golf Shirts, Golf caps and a commemorative overall patch. Please download the order form from WIDE HORIZON CHARITY RACE. Last day for ordering is Tuesday 14 October. Only paid orders will be accepted so please send proof of payment to avoid disappointment.
CORPORATE RACE.
Entries have exceeded our wildest dreams. At last count we were heading for 27 entries.
This is the BIG ONE.
Round 9 of the Prokart SSS endurance Series, but also your chance to support a worthwhile charity.
This is the 7th year we are using the 12 hour race to raise funds for the Wide Horizon Care Centre in Vereeniging. They provide palliative care and support for terminally ill people. They rely on the support of the local community to raise funds to supplement government and Lotto funding. Over the years the Prokart community has contributed in excess of R250,000-00 to the Wide Horizon Care Centre.
Our objective has always been to use the 12 hour as a fund raising venture. We put ourselves through quite a bit of stress and hardship in this race, but nothing like the terminally ill experience. We need your support and here is how you can do it. There are several different sponsorship and donation options available, from selling a section of track to a corporate entity, to getting individual members of family and friends to sponsor your team on a per lap basis. You may convince your company or a bunch of mates to enter the Corporate Kart Challenge.
